Questions before takeoff?
Here are a few of the questions I hear most often. If yours is not here, I would love to help.
Are you really free? How do you get paid?+
I’m really free to you for many bookings. I receive a commission from the rooms, cars, and excursions I book for you, paid by the travel company. I do not have the overhead that would require a booking fee for those services.
What is the research fee for new clients?+
Effective August 8, 2024, new clients pay a $50 research fee. The fee is applied to your trip once you select and book it. If you decide not to book, the fee is not returned and is used as compensation for the research and planning time.
When is the best time to book?+
Flights are often most affordable three to six months out and can be booked about 300 days in advance. Tuesday through Thursday can be a good window to lock them in. Rooms are commonly best booked one year to four months in advance, depending on the destination.
Do you cost more than doing it myself?+
Typically, no. I can price match most things if you find a lower comparable price elsewhere, and I frequently have access to discounts and coupons that can add savings to a reservation.
